In 2024, China's wind power industry has reached a new historical juncture. With the enactment and implementation of the Energy Law, record-breaking installations of both onshore and offshore wind power, and frequent milestones in wind turbine and major component manufacturing, China has become the world's largest wind power equipment manufacturing base. However, amidst these opportunities, the industry faces numerous challenges: pressure in equipment R&D and manufacturing, frequent component failures and turbine accidents, and increasing difficulties in equipment manufacturing due to stricter international trade requirements on carbon emissions. Technological innovation and regulatory reforms have become pressing issues for the industry. Against this backdrop, the trend of "bigger and newer" is gradually receding, with high reliability, intelligence, and profitability becoming the defining features of newly launched equipment. Returning to high-quality project assets and focusing on efficiency has become a consensus among industry professionals.


To break through the bottleneck of wind power becoming a dominant energy source, manufacturers are focusing on innovative applications, showcasing comprehensive solutions for the future. As a critical component of wind turbines, the R&D, manufacturing, testing, and maintenance of blades are crucial to the entire turbine and project. Meanwhile, as key raw materials for blades, advancements in composite materials and carbon fiber technologies, along with cost changes, not only impact the blades but also provide new avenues for the innovative upgrading of wind turbines, making them a focal point in the industry.


Against this backdrop, to further enhance the design and manufacturing level of wind turbine blades, accelerate the innovative application of high-performance materials in the field of wind turbine blades, and promote the high-quality development of China's wind power industry, the "2025 11th China International Wind Power Composite Materials Innovation Development Forum and Exhibition" will be held from March 19 to 21, 2025, in Tongxiang, Zhejiang. The event is jointly organized by the China Composites Industry Association, the Wind Power Engineering Composites Committee of the China Composites Society, and the East Wind Power Network (EASTWP.NET). The forum will focus on the theme of "Developing New Quality Productivity, Empowering High-Quality Improvement, and Building an International Supply Chain," providing insights and strategies for the healthy development of the wind power industry.


The conference will invite executives, technical, quality, production, procurement, and marketing department heads from renowned domestic and international wind turbine manufacturers, blade manufacturers, raw material suppliers, developers, research institutions, design organizations, and third-party testing and certification agencies, as well as industry experts. The specific arrangements are as follows:
